Summer Internship Program
Have you secured a summer internship? If so, you may be interested in participating in the Social Science Summer Internship Program to earn a non-academic credit and have the experience noted on your transcript.

If you are interested in having your position evaluated to participate in the program please complete the following steps:
- Submit in writing, the following information to Social Science Career Services (SSC 2040)
BEFORE you begin your internship
- Name, address of Employer
- Position
- Job Description obtained through employer
- Name of Supervisor or company contact with complete contact information ( address, e-mail and phone number)
- Rate of pay
- Start and end dates
- We will contact the employer and make sure that the position meets the internship criteria and contact you with the status. If your position meets the criteria, you will pay a $450 internship fee and be required to submit both a 5 page reflection paper on your experience and an employer written evaluation on your work. Your internship will appear on your transcripts.

Job Shadow Program
Third-year student criminology student, Alyssa Kilby, says program has allowed her to network with individuals in the field. Students in the job shadow program gain experience and knowledge about a career as well as make better decisions about their studies. <more>
