IntroductionThe people of the Middle Woodland Period were starting to shift to agriculture leading to a more solid communal identity. This also meant more permanent settlements began to appear and the society was becoming more kin-based. With the existance of pottery and ceramics in the Woodland period various distinct decorative techniques were used such as the dentate or stamped motif. |
