Political Economy Research Group

 

The Political Economy Research Group was established in the Faculty of Social Science at the University of Western Ontario in 1998.  It focuses on:

  • the application of economic models and methods to the study of political processes and institutions,
  • the economic impact of political processes and institutions,
  • the influence of economic factors on the formation of public policy and on institutional change,
  • the politics of economic policy making, and
  • the political, social, and economic effects of public policy.
