PhD candidate wins research grant

Dorotea Gucciardo has won a dissertation research grant from the EDF Foundation in Paris. The grants, which are awarded in an international competition, are given to outstanding doctoral candidates working on the history of electricity. Dorotea’s dissertation is entitled “The Powered Generation: Canadians, Electricity, and Everyday Life".
