Western Summer School
Western Summer School in Longitudinal Data Analysis will not be offered in 2014.
The May 2013 Summer School welcomed 50 registrants from Western, McGill, McMaster, Windsor, Toronto, Calgary, and Memorial University; participants’ backgrounds included business, sociology, family medicine, health, anthropology, political science, nursing, psychology, education and statistical and actuarial sciences.
Participant feedback included the following:
“Amazing! I loved it and I am sure I will apply to one of the summer courses next year.”
“Both the professor and TA were extremely helpful and knowledgeable of the material, and both went above and beyond when answering questions. Western was very accommodating and took the time to answer my email queries before the course started.”
"My supervisors told me about the summer school since I was interested in analyzing quantitative data for my M.A. research paper. I took the Applied Introduction to Advanced Statistics course from Professor Paul Paré, and really enjoyed the class and daily labs. All of the students received individual help from Paul and the TA, Jinette, everyday! This course really jump-started me on my data analysis process and enhanced my understanding of the methods that I had learned in my graduate program."
Enrolment opens in January for classes May 5th to 16th, 2014. See you next year!
